A couple of months ago, I received my bachelor's degree in Business Administration, and am planning to continue on to get my master's degree in accounting. Unfortunately if you don't have your undergrad degree in accounting, then you are not permitted to obtain the accounting masters with Auditing or Tax Emphasis. They will only give me a generic accounting masters. If I have to take the additional courses to qualify for an accounting undergrad, it is just cost prohibitive, and a lot more time. I am also planning on law school and want to become a tax attorney. My question is, do you think that future employers will accept my credentials as a tax lawyer with a CPA, or must I have that Auditing and Tax Emphasis masters?
